Skylights

Skylights give rooms a special flair. They let in more light than dormers and provide an unobstructed view. But as their size increases, so does their weight.

Function

Even very heavy skylights can be opened and closed easily and conveniently when equipped with gas springs from STABILUS. They allow fixing the window in intermediate positions, protecting it from damage. In strong winds, our gas springs will dampen impacts. The damping characteristics of the gas spring will also prevent the window from being closed too fast or noisily. Ideal protection against glass breakage or damage to the frame.
