If smoke develops, the window will open and the resulting draft will evacuate the smoke to the outside. Here, reliability is the most important aspect. Only if the window opens reliably will smoke inhalation be avoided.
Function
Our products make life a little safer. We offer the properly designed gas springs and dampers, which are either installed pre-tensioned or “shot on” using a gas cartridge. The damping of the gas spring will prevent damage to the fire resistant window or the smoke exhaust flap. It will also prevent the smoke exhaust flap from opening too wide and slamming into the roof or from being damaged due to high stresses in the material.
